Made in China 2025 and Industrial 4.0

“Industry 4.0” strategy is initiated by German Government. It’s served for the purpose to escalate the competitiveness of German industrial sector and secure the leading position in the new round of industrial evolution. This strategy has widely been recognized from research institute and industrial sector in Germany.  “Made-in-China 2025” strategy had also been initiated from China. This accompanies to services provided by Hong Kong Innovation Services Limited (HKIS) for upgrading manufacturing companies in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province and China by coincidence.

With respect to Made-in-China 2025 and manufacturing sector, China Government has made up a biggest plan. It could prove how much China Government concerns about the development of the manufacturing sector. There are 10 key priority development sectors included: new generation of information technology, high-end computer numerical control machine tool and robotics, aerospace equipment, marine engineering and high-tech shipment, advanced railway transportation equipment, new energy vehicle, electrical device, new material, bio-medical and high-end medical device, agricultural equipment. These 10 key priority development sectors have some overlapping with 7 strategic emerging industries and 16 special topics.

 

HKIS works cohesively with Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC). Ms. LAW Yee Ping, Managing Director, HKIS, had participated training course organized by HKPC and several international seminar held in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Chongqing.

Talk about Industry 4.0 in Chongqing Conference

On 18th November, 2015, Ms. LAW Yee Ping, Managing Director, HKIS and 3D-INNO, participated China Italy Innovation & Cooperation Chongqing conference at the 6th China Italy Innovation & Cooperation Week. Ms. LAW Yee Ping had a speech in the advanced manufacturing and the 2nd China Italy industrial seminar with theme “Made-in-China: how far from industry 1.0 to 4.0?”.

Ms. LAW had taken a speech to talk about her achievement related to training at Germany on September. She had mainly talked about Siemens future factory and EWA advanced technology. Those technologies had been transferred to Chengdu. She hoped that those advanced technology could be also transferred to Chongqing and other part of China. The speech of Ms. LAW had received a great response and there are couple of Chongqing manufacturing companies and maker spaces contacted with Ms. LAW for seeking working opportunity.

 

Made-in-China x Industry 4.0 International Conference

The inauguration ceremony of Made-in-China 2015 x industry 4.0 international conference and exchange community in Software base was held on 15th April, 2016 at Shenzhen Bay Software Base. It had invited a lot industrial experts and VIP.

Professor TAN Jianrong, Fellow, Chinese Academy of Engineering, had been invited and had a speech. The topic of his speech is “Policy of Made-in-China 2025 and industry 4.0 and its opportunity & challenge”. He had analyzed the future development of China manufacturing industry and the relationship of industry 4.0.

CIEP: Talents from China and Germany talk about how SMEs accompany to Made-in-China 2025 and industry 4.0

The 14th Conference on International Exchange of Professionals was held on 16-17th April, 2016. The global talents are all aggregated there for giving the suggestion. International Technology Transfer Network (ITTN), HKIS, Space Holding (Shenzhen) Co,. LTD act as the co-organizers of international technology transfer sector. Especially “Made-in-China 2025 international seminar” held on 16th April afternoon, it will focus on discussing the challenges of Made-in-China and Industry 4.0 to China SMEs.

Through the communication within Made-in-China 2025 seminar, Professor TAN wanted to facilitate the technology transfer and cooperation between innovative technology and manufacturing. Afterwards, Mr. LIU Ai Ming, Chairman, Space Holding (Shenzhen) Co., LTD, took a speech on topic namely as “Shenzhen-Hong Kong International Cooperation, it assists the upgrading of manufacturing industry”. Space would work with international technology transfer center, national technology transfer center and enterprise service alliance with the linkage between market, finance and service platforms. So that Space could initiate ecosphere and facilitate the upgrading of the manufacturing companies.

Mr. Toni Drescher, German Industry 4.0 expert; Head of department “Operative technology management”, Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology IPT, had taken a speech on how to apply his experience on German Industry 4.0 onto the China SMEs. Since he did have an in-depth research on China market and the acknowledgement about German Industry 4.0, he had pointed out the importance of Industry 4.0 that had given a valuable information to the participants.
